The Five Best Things About The Xbox 360
1. The Xbox 360 has Hardcore Gamers.
For Gamers that play a lot, there is no better system than the Xbox 360. It has the best there is to offer for a standard next-gen console and a large user base to utilize it all. Which leads me to my next point…
2. The Xbox 360 has Xbox Live.
Of all the systems, including the granddaddy of connectivity, the PC, Xbox Live is by far the easiest to use connection tool. Other systems have it, other systems have friend codes, other systems are currently free, but Xbox Live does it best. Voice, text, downloadable content, system/game updates, all easily navigable through…
3. The Xbox 360 has Xbox Dashboard.
This is the console’s menu system, and by itself, it is well laid out, easily accessible, and chock full ‘o’ nifty options. They include user set backgrounds and modular, organizational components. And, for people that have been console gaming for years, it means that you can have fun with your console without having a game plugged in.
4. The Xbox 360 has Game Library.
In the past, Xbox hasn’t had the largest library of games…well, good games at least. So far, and with new titles coming all the time, the 360 has the best selection of games. It has even snagged a number of formerly exclusive titles. And yeah, that’s just a by-product of developers and producers needing to pay rent, but what it means to the consumer is that you can play the game you want on the system you want. And right now, those games are debuting on the 360 first.
5. The Xbox 360’s Pricing.
This one is a no brainer. The 360 is smack in the middle of the price scale. And yet it offers more than one competitor and just as much as the other. Even the new Elite version of the 360 is cheaper than competition, and that’s with a twice as large harddrive. 360 is definitely the best bang for your buck when it comes to next-gen gaming.

1. Incorrect. Playstation fans are the hardcore gamers. Anyone one can pick up a wii cause it so cheap.. but as far as xbox and ps3 sales.. both have been slow. PS2 owners are just playing there games which are still good till ps3 comes down and price and gets more games.
2. Xbox has live. Okay. ps3 network isn’t far behind and is free. With Home things will be evened out if not better.
3. great.. make it pink. next
4. Game library… gezzz. for being out a year… decent. besides… PS3 with ps2 which is still pumping out bad ass games… has the bigger library. I’d rather play God of war 2 on my ps3 than any other Xbox game anyway.
5. Pricing. sorry.. for the extra hundred bucks I’ll get my self the more dominant processor… access to play the ps2’s dominant library.. and a Blue Ray player! You know else I’ll spend an extra $100 for……. The fact that 1 out of ever 3 ps3’s won’t break!!! Have fun at warranty hell! Are you freakin serious with this one??. I’m not even gonna mention the guarantee for Final Fantasy and MGS4 etc…. (rather than keeping my fingers crossed that it gets ported) You can have your Halo 3 which the beta was ehh anyways.

Oh this is so sweet. I basically just owned you. You’ve just agreed with me and resorted to some of the best 5 year-old child insults I’ve read. Fitting for an xflop fan. Well played.. now go kill yourself

1. Hardcore gamers? Oh you mean all the people who bought into Microsoft’s multi-million dollar marketing scheme when Bill Gates casually decided he wanted a chunk of the gaming industry. Even if these people were hardcore gamers, the 360 is a HORRIBLE system for anyone who wants to play for any length of time, due to the fact that the internal architecture of the 360 is designed as such that it literally destroys itself from the inside out due to heat.. this is why 1 out of every 3 xbox 360s will FAIL within the FIRST YEAR of purchase…
2. Xbox live? Oh you mean pay-to-play online gaming! Online gaming should be free, and PSN looks to be a better network in that it will offer ALL of the vital features of xbox live and you won’t need to cough up a credit card number just to play a little madden online.
3. Great, make it pink! I’ll stick to my intuitive, streamlined XMB, thank you.
4. As of now, the 360 does have a pretty good library. However, this fall all bets are off as the PS3 will be seeing a plethora of killer apps, many of which are exclusives. And as time goes on, we will see more and more games that the ps3 can handle and the 360 simply cannot.
5. Considering there is a 33.33% any given brand new xbox 360 will completely fail, I don’t think the ‘low’ price of the system is meaningful in any way. I would rather pay an extra hundred bucks for a system that is built well and does not fail.

I honestly don’t care about the price of the machine. It’s the games! They are too much money in my opinion.
